Hmm, I suppose I should update my fandom likes/dislikes as I have now branched out in my reading.

My fandoms are now Harry Potter, Stargate, X-Men, House MD, BtVS, and Smallville. My favourite fandom by far is Harry Potter. What kind of stories do I read? Pretty much anything that is well written. I am a huge fan of fluff, humour, and romance but I will read drama, adventure, angst (not too much, I can't read too much angst), and anything else. I read both het and slash though probably more slash than het.

Now on to fandom specifics. My first fandom was Stargate and I do still read it, though not with the same intensity as before. In SG-1 my OTP is Jack/Daniel. Other pairings I will read are Janet/Sam, Sam/Daniel, and Jack/OC. Although I will read ship stories, my favourites are definitely gen or team fics.

The next fandom to interest me was Smallville. I still read SV occasionally when the mood hits. I don't have a OTP in this fandom as I will read pretty much everything except Clark/Lana. I will read Clark/Lex, Clark/Chloe, Chloe/Lana, Chloe/Lionel, Chloe/Oliver, etc. My favourite character is Chloe and that's why I will read her paired with pretty much anyone. I like ships stories and gen stories equally.

Then I got into House MD. I must admit, I rarely read House fanfiction anymore. I lost interest after the whole Tritter thing and never went back. I do still read anything written before then. My OTP is House/Wilson. That's pretty much all I read in this fandom though the occasional House/Cuddy will slip through.

At about the same time I got into House, I got into X-Men. I have seen the Movies and X-Men: Evolution but I have never read the comics. This is a fandom I doubt I will ever grow out of. There is always something that interests me. I started out as a hardcore Rogue/Logan fan but soon moved on to Scott/Logan and Scott/Rogue. Now I read all of those and Jean/Rogue, Rogue/Pyro, Rogue/Magneto (that's a huge one for me) and whole other slew of stuff. If it's well written, I will read any pairing. My favourite character is Rogue, she has so much potential with her powers and personality that she makes a good read.

My second favourite fandom is Buffy. I love BtVS, Joss Whedon is a god for inventing this fandom. My OTP is Spike/Xander though Spike/Willow runs a close second. I will also read Buffy/Giles, Willow/Angel, Willow/Giles, Xander/Giles, and Buffy/Xander. The one pairing I refuse to read is Spike/Buffy. Sorry, I just can't see it. I love Scooby friendship fics and gen is awesome but I read mostly romance. My favourite character is Willow though Spike runs a close second.

Ah, my favourite fandom: Harry Potter. I first got into HP when I watched the first four movies. I fell in love with the fandom. I immediately set out to read HP fanfic so I went to google and searched. I got on to harrypotterfanfiction.com and went to the top tens. The first story I saw that intrigued me was 'Resonance' by GreenGecko, so I read it. Best decision of my life, that story rocks! Thus began my obsession with HP fanfiction. I read as much gen Harry&Snape fics I could find. I went on ff.net and found potionsandsnitches and thought I had died and gone to heaven. I have since branched out in my reading though I still love a good Harry&Snape story.

My OTP is, you guessed it, Harry/Severus. Love the Snarry, can't get enough of the Snarry, please write more Snarry. *ahem* Moving along. Other favourite pairings involving Snape include Snape/Lupin, Snape/Hermione, Snape/OFC, Snape/Luna, Snape/Lily, Snape/Ginny, and Snape/Hagrid. I love Snape, I'm not sure if that has come across or not, but I *love* Snape. He is my all time favourite character and I will read him paired with almost anyone. Other pairings I will read include Harry/Hermione, Harry/Tom Riddle or Harry/Lord Voldemort, and Harry/Lucius. I don't really mind Hermione/Ron as a secondary pairing but I won't read a story about them. I don't like Harry/Ginny at all; I will only read it if it isn't the main part of the story.

I love both romance and gen though I probably read more romance than gen. Same goes for slash and het; I read both but definitely more slash. I like stories where Harry is abused by the Dursleys and Snape (or someone else) rescues him. I also like stories where Harry is in another house (Slytherin!) other than Gryffindor. I also like creature!fics and superpowered!fics. I adore AU's especially where Harry is raised by someone other than the Dursleys. I will read angst though I am a soft-hearted soul who can't bear for too much badness to happen to her favourites characters. For the same reason above, I will not read horror. I am far too much of a wimp. All other genres are welcome. I love MWPP stories though I am not a fan of Sirius Black or James Potter. Stories in this era have to be about Snape. I love it if he gets together with someone (he deserves some happiness, dammit!), either Lupin or Lily or someone. I like time-travel stories, especially Harry goes back to the MWPP era ones.

This list of my fandom likes/dislikes is by no means comprehensive. I am pretty flexible in what I will read. I will try anything once. I love cliches as much as weird/unique plots. Pretty much anything goes. I hope to read many stories and I promise to review those which really move me.

Hello people!

I am a total fanfiction addict who made an LJ account just so I could read good fics.  I am into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis, X-Men movies, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Smallville. 

My favourite fandom by far is Buffy and my favourites character is, of course Spike.  My fav pairing in Buffy is a tie between Willow/Spike and Spike/Xander although I will read pretty much any pairing except Spuffy.  Sorry, I just can't stomach it or even picture it no matter what Joss says! 

Running a close second for fav fandom is Stargate SG-1 the show that started me on fanfiction, *sigh*, good memories.  Jack O'Neill is my favourite character and I read primarily Jack/Daniel (it *is* canon).  Sometimes I will read Sam/Daniel but I mainly ship JD all the way.

In Stargate Atlantis I like to read gen fics though I am partial to John/Rodney with Rodney being my fav character.  For X-Men, my fav character is always Rogue and I will read almost any pairing.  Really, any pairing.  POTC is a new area of fanfiction for me and so far I like Sparrabeth with Jack being my fav character (who doesn't love Jack?).  Smallville is an old fav of mine with Chloe as my fav character.  I usually read Chloe paired with anyone but Jimmy (I just don't see it).  So yeah: Chlex, Chlark, Chlionel and sometimes even Clex.

I am a sucker for fluff and schmoop, and I *love* hurt/comfort.  I cannot read angst as it causes me too much pain.  Yes, I freely admit it, I am a wuss.  The only reason I read h/c is for the comfort portion.  I love complicated plots and I adore epics.  My favourite kind of story though has to be crossovers.  I luuuurrrrve crossovers.  It is the melding of two or more awesome fandoms in one great story.  What's not to love?  I am not a writer, in any way, shape, or form.  I am a reader.  A reader who reviews.  I do like to give feedback cuz I just have to spread the joy that some stories give me.

Anyways, that's me.  Fanfiction addict with no plans of quitting.  I hope to read more great fics.  If you are a good writer then you will be hearing from me.  Ta ta!
